one and a half

Mandy is 18 months old today. I remembered just in time for a late afternoon photo shoot. Not her best time and I couldn't find the infectious smile we know and love.

She weighs in at 23.8 pounds, up .5 pounds from her 16 month stats. You can see them here.

Don't worry, I won't be posting scale pictures of my pregnancy weight gain.

It looks like she is measuring at 32.5 inches. This is the truly scientific way of taking a babies stats.

Mandy is a beautiful girl. She looks less babyish every day. I can't believe her sweet personality. We enjoy her very much, especially now that she sleeps all night (most of the time).

This is the age of discovery and recently she loves to color, eat color crayons, read books, and eat books. She's a hands-on learner.

People often comment on how much the girls look alike. I think they have similarities, but also have their own unique cuteness. Emma still favors my side of the family while Mandy looks like the Peters.

These are the 18 month pictures of Emma from Sears. I had yet to learn my lesson with cheap-o studios and I was convinced by a very skilled sales lady to buy this collage for $19. I wish the lady had been as good at photography as she was at sales. The bottom left photos is out of focus and the top right one is so dark. But what a cutie. I couldn't resist.
