Both the girls are baby crazy these days. Emma asks me daily if this is the day the baby is going to come. She is very aware of the process, very anxious, and is SO excited for her "Boy Baby" to make his appearance.
After bath time, Emma asked if she could practice holding a baby and wanted to use Mandy. The conversation went something like this,
Emma: Mandy, can I hold you like a baby? Yes? Come here. Shhh... I'll put you to sleep.
In her head I really think that Emma thought this would work. And then began the process of trying to pick up her sister who weighs only about 6 pounds less than she does. We were all laughing so hard by the end of it that I could barely hold the camera.
And Emma could barely hold Mandy....

Mandy got to practice holding a beloved baby, her cousin Jamin. I've never seen a toddler so enthralled with babies before. She is surprisingly gentle and would rather rock "her" baby than go play with the big kids.
Our baby boy is going to get plenty of attention and love. Just 3 weeks, 6 days (but who is counting?) left until my due date. We are all more than ready for our little guy to come.
