I know I rarely post any of my own photos, but I especially like this one for 3 reasons:
1. We just finished watching Ken Burn's JAZZ (it's 10 discs!). So, I now have a new love for Jazz music... One of my favorite musicians so far is the legendary saxophonist Charlie Parker. Charlie's nickname was Bird and when Charlie died in 1955 graffti proclaiming "BIRD LIVES" could be found all over NYC.
2. My nickname is Bird.
3. My red Toms + Yellow & White 1950's sundress = the best combo!
