It's hard for me to believe that summer is slowly coming to an end... I feel like it just started here in Portland, OR! But as summer undoubtedly fades, I am trying to get in all my last bits of summer dressing before it's all sweaters and boots again. Here are a few looks inspiring me in these last warm days...

1. The perfect little summer biking outfit... and I love a good worn-in leather satchel (via A Cup of Jo).

1. Knotted Headscarves - What do you think? On one hand I love this look with it's sort of 20's and 50's vibes. On the other hand I think I would look like a 12-year-old with a scarf in my hair like this. (Style Sightings)


2. I have been hunting for a small, black, cross-body bag for a long time and I LOVE this JCrew version. I am generally like more simple things, but I am really liking the grommets on this! (JCrew)


3. Full blouses: I struggle with this every Summer. I want to wear loose tops, but don't want to look pregnant (unless of course I was, which is a totally different thing)... Really like this APC Madras top, but is it a little picnic-table-ish? (Need Supply Co.)

3. I have almost the exact same haircut at Alexa right now (I know, I should post a picture of myself some time, but I am so camera shy!). I have been avoiding coloring my hair, so I have a bit of a two-tone thing happening (which I kind of hate)... But then I saw this photo of Alexa and I actually love her two-tone hair! 1. This look is total perfection in my book. Long hair, quirky bags, loose menswear shirt, and LOVE those beads! I think I need to hit up the bead store to try to recreate this necklace. (Side Note: I am in the market for a light red lip stain - Have a good recommendation??)


2. Geeky-chic done right... Although, I must say, plaid pants are a bit hard to pull...

1. How cute is this girl - Don't you sorta want to be her friend! I love the playful dress with classic white Vans and a fringe bag. Totally adorable and unique combo.


2. Slouchy, destroyed boyfriend jeans done right with a feminine top and cute sandals. Granted she is obviously a model, not sure how this would translate on a mere mortal, but I think it seems like a pretty democratic look.


3. One for the boys... love the tonal colors and excellent accessories. (Not to mention he's totally good looking! Yes, I had to say it.)

1. Vintage Demin Jacket + 90's Floral Dress + Beat Up Tennies ala Michelle Williams = Yes! This combo hardly ever goes wrong! (via Popsugar)


2. One color dressing! I've already mentioned how much I loved this girl's denim-on-denim look and then she one up'd it with pink-on-pink! My jaw nearly dropped - She obviously has found a formula that works for her. I have never been a huge pink fan, but sometimes it just seems right. (via Garance Dore)
